IT Infrastructure Manager Job

A highly skilled IT professional is sought after to lead our company's digital transformation in manufacturing facilities. We are looking for an experienced IT manager to oversee the entire IT infrastructure, applications, and systems for plant operations.

About the Role:

This is a critical position that requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and experience in managing complex IT systems in a regulated environment. As an IT manager, you will be responsible for heading the overall IT strategy, implementing innovative solutions, and ensuring all IT systems comply with industry regulations and standards.

The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of successfully managing IT systems in a medium to large-scale formulations or API manufacturing facility. You should be able to design, implement, and maintain robust infrastructure and systems to support various internal functions like production, engineering, QC, and warehouse within the manufacturing facility.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead cross-functional teams for routine tasks and collaborate closely with HO teams for any systems improvements, CAPAs, and lead digital and automation projects implementation at site.
  • Evaluate and upgrade existing IT infra systems, applications, and OT technologies to meet technology transformations and enhanced compliance requirements as per regulatory guidelines (USFDA, EU-FMD, etc).
  • Play a vital role during regulatory audits and extend support on various audit remediation tasks.

You will also be responsible for ensuring information security measures, including cyber security protocols and privacy security standards to protect sensitive data.

Key Requirements:
  • Proven track record of successfully managing IT systems in a medium to large-scale formulations or API manufacturing facility.
  • Ability to design, implement, and maintain robust infrastructure and systems to support various internal functions like production, engineering, QC, and warehouse within the manufacturing facility.
  • Strong knowledge of active and passive networking (LAN/WAN, switches, routers, firewalls).
  • Expertise in information security, cyber security, and privacy security.
  • Adequate knowledge of OT-IT systems integration (L1 & L2 systems, DAS, Historian).
  • Exposure to various IT applications like SAP, eBMR, MES, QMS, LIMS, etc.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional and challenging environment.
  • Capable of idea generation and process improvement skills.
  • Exposure to regulated audits like US FDA, MHRA, etc.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCNA, or equivalent are desirable.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, etc.).
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc).
  • Good project management and exposure to computerized systems validation.

The ideal candidate should have a degree in B. Tech/B. E/B.Sc./BCA or above from a reputed institute and 15 to 20 years of relevant experience.
