Flowmeter Calibration Specialist Job Summary

This role is focused on ensuring the accuracy and precision of flowmeter calibration methods, including creating, maintaining, and executing calibration procedures. The Flowmeter Calibration Specialist will work with external vendors to coordinate calibrations and monitor vendor performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain high-precision flowmeter calibration standards and methodologies.
  • Coordinate and execute calibration activities for internal and external customers.
  • Manage calibration schedules, lead times, and databases to ensure seamless operations.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to expand internal calibration capabilities and establish scope approval under ISO/IEC-17025:2005.
  • Participate in audits and represent the organization's calibration department.
  • Validate and improve calibration methods and processes.

Requirements (Special Knowledge, Education, Ability, and Skills):
  • At least 10 years overall experience, with 5+ years as a Calibration Engineer.
  • Formal training in Metrology, such as the Precision Measurement Equipment Course.
  • Strong background in quality management systems (ISO-17025, ISO-9001) and equipment calibration in Electrical instrumentation / Physical Dimensional / Flowmeter Calibration.
  • Excellent record keeping and database maintenance skills, along with proficiency in spreadsheets.
  • Ability to maintain excellence and accuracy in fast-paced environments and demonstrate ongoing commitment to knowledge advancement in instrument calibration methods.
  • Effective team collaboration and communication skills, with attention to detail and conscientiousness related to the quality of work.
