Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager – Project Finance with strong expertise in financial structuring, project evaluation, and fundraising for renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate will lead the financing strategy for solar projects, liaise with banks/financial institutions, and ensure timely financial closure to support growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project financing activities for solar projects.
  • Build and evaluate detailed financial models including IRR, DSCR, payback period, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Manage end-to-end debt raising process from preparing DPRs and loan applications to negotiations and disbursement.
  • Liaise with banks, investors, and credit rating agencies to secure project financing.
  • Review and negotiate term sheets, loan agreements, and financial covenants.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for financial due diligence and risk assessment.
  • Monitor cash flow, loan compliance, and repayment schedules for ongoing projects.
  • Identify innovative financing structures such as leasing, hybrid, or green bonds to optimize project returns.

Requirements:

  • MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA / equivalent with a strong financial background.
  • Minimum 8–12 years of experience in project finance, preferably in the renewable energy/power/infrastructure sector.
  • Proven track record in debt raising, project financing, and financial closures.
  • Strong expertise in financial modeling, credit appraisal, and risk analysis.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight timelines.
