Role Overview

Lead Solar Power Project Deliveries

Our organization is seeking a seasoned Solar Power Project Manager to drive the successful execution of large-scale solar power projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing MW-scale solar power projects, from initiation to commissioning, while ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Strategy
  • Develop detailed project execution plans aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Establish project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.

Project Execution & Monitoring

Oversee end-to-end execution of solar projects, ensuring strict adherence to scope, cost, and timelines.

Implement corrective actions in case of deviations or delays.

Monitor daily site progress and coordinate with site engineers and contractors.

Engineering & Technical Oversight

Review and validate engineering designs, layouts, and technical specifications.

Ensure compliance with electrical, civil, and mechanical design standards.

Provide technical guidance to engineering and site teams.

Stakeholder & Team Management

Lead project teams, providing guidance, motivation, and performance management.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, government bodies, and internal stakeholders.

Manage contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of services and materials.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

Ensure adherence to safety protocols and EHS standards at site.

Conduct quality audits and inspections at various stages of the project.

Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Project Closure & Handover

Supervise testing, commissioning, and performance trials.

Ensure proper documentation, certifications, and statutory approvals.

Prepare detailed project closure reports and lessons-learned documentation.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Energy or equivalent.
  • 12+ years of experience in managing large-scale Solar EPC / Utility / C&I projects.
  • Proven track record of handling MW-scale solar projects.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, project execution methodologies, and renewable energy regulations.
  • Experience in contract management, procurement, and vendor management.
