
Sales Director

The organization seeks an accomplished sales professional to spearhead the development and execution of strategic sales initiatives in North India.
This senior role will be responsible for fostering key relationships with esteemed clients, driving revenue growth, and implementing sales strategies that align with business objectives.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the solar inverter market, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to coach and develop high-performing sales teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong, mutually beneficial partnerships with key stakeholders in the industry.
- Establish and achieve quarterly/annual sales targets for solar inverters and related solutions.
- Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding account revenue.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless pre- and post-sales support.
- Develop and present compelling sales forecasts, proposals, and presentations.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and customer needs in the region.
- Oversee payment collection and provide support to the finance team in minimizing outstanding dues.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer data and activity reports within the CRM system.
Requirements:
- 5–7 years' experience in solar inverter sales, preferably in a B2B setting.
- Experience in key account project management and direct development is highly valued.
- Exceptional market insight, excellent communication and coordination skills, negotiation skills, and adaptability are essential.
- Able to think strategically about key account sales layout and planning.
