Event Director

Responsible for overseeing end-to-end banquet operations in premium venues, ensuring profitability, service quality, and customer satisfaction.

The Event Director will manage menu planning, food production, quality and hygiene standards, competitive analysis, sales growth, and cost control. This individual will coordinate with sales, unit heads, chefs, and corporate clients to deliver exceptional events, including weddings, corporate functions, and outdoor catering.

Key areas of focus include:

  • Operations & Profitability: Drive sales and profit targets, monitor costs, maintain infrastructure, and implement standard operating procedures.
  • Business Development: Develop sales/marketing plans, manage public relations, build client relationships, and secure repeat business.
  • Client Servicing: Customize services to meet client needs for maximum satisfaction.
  • Supply Chain Management: Manage inventory, vendor relations, and compliance.
  • People Management: Lead staffing, training, appraisals, and team motivation.

This role reports to the General Manager and manages the Sales Head & Manager – Operations. A Graduate/Postgraduate in Hotel Management with 12–15 years in premium hospitality/banquet operations, strong Food & Beverage expertise, leadership, and decision-making skills are required for this position.
