Job Description

As a Performance Tester, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal functioning of our applications. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and execute comprehensive performance testing plans using industry-leading tools like Apache JMeter.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop performance test scenarios, leveraging your expertise in scripting languages such as Groovy, Python, or Shell.
  • Analyze performance test results, identifying areas for improvement and collaborating with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Perform thorough testing and monitoring of applications running in Kubernetes clusters, ensuring seamless scalability and reliability.
  • Execute performance testing across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), staying abreast of emerging trends and best practices.
  • Implement and manage monitoring tools and dashboards to track system health and performance metrics, providing actionable insights for business growth.
  • Debug and troubleshoot performance issues across distributed systems and microservices, employing strong analytical skills to drive resolution.
  • Develop and deliver detailed performance reports and recommendations for improvements, contributing to the company's continuous learning and growth.

Required Skills:

  • Profound experience with JMeter for performance/load testing.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, Python, Shell) for test automation.
  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Proficiency in using monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic, AppDynamics).
  • Strong debugging skills to identify and fix performance issues.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
