Job Summary

We are seeking an Interface Integration Developer with hands-on experience in healthcare interoperability and interface development.

The role requires strong expertise in HL7 standards and practical experience working with leading interface engines.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting interfaces that enable seamless data exchange between clinical and enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement complex healthcare interfaces using Corepoint, Mirth Connect (NextGen Connect), and Rhapsody.
  • Perform rigorous testing of interfaces to ensure data integrity, message routing accuracy, and system reliability.
  • Monitor interface performance and provide timely support for production issues.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all interfaces.
  • Familiarity with database concepts and the ability to write and execute SQL queries.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical staff.

Experience Required

  • 3–5 years of experience in healthcare integration/interface development.
  • Strong knowledge of HL7 standards (v2.x, v3, FHIR, CCD).
  • Experience with various communication protocols such as SFTP, MLLP, and web services.
  • Hands-on expertise in at least one interface engine: Corepoint, Rhapsody, or Mirth.
  • Good understanding of healthcare workflows, EHR data exchange, and interoperability concepts.
  • Exposure to troubleshooting and debugging tools within interface engines.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
