Job Title: MEP Project Engineer

As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems in commercial buildings. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that these systems meet the highest standards of efficiency, sustainability, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Planning: Develop comprehensive designs for MEP systems, integrating them with overall building layouts to ensure seamless functionality.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with architects, construction managers, and other engineers to guarantee a cohesive approach to project delivery.
  • System Management: Oversee the selection, installation, and maintenance of equipment and components for all MEP systems.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all systems conform to relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Efficiency and Sustainability: Design and optimize systems for maximum energy efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and minimal environmental impact.
  • Documentation: Prepare and review detailed drawings, technical specifications, and cost estimates for all MEP scope of work.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues related to MEP systems during the design, installation, or operational phases.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, along with 6-8 years of experience in high-rise buildings, residential buildings, and townships. You should have a deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including HVAC, power systems, and water distribution.

Additionally, you should have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also essential for identifying and resolving complex technical challenges.
