About Us: We are a leading technology consulting firm seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and deliver projects in data engineering and analytics.

The Role: As a Technical Project Manager, you will oversee cross-functional teams to execute data platform, pipeline, and analytics initiatives ensuring alignment with business goals and timely delivery.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute technical project plans on time within scope.
  • Show strong understanding of data pipelines ETL/ELT and analytics workflows.
  • Collaborate with engineering product QA and operations teams to define project requirements and success metrics.
  • Create detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Track project progress using tools like Jira Confluence and report status to stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify and resolve project blockers and dependencies.
  • Evaluate and ensure all technical documentation is current and aligned with project goals.
  • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Manage third-party vendors or external contractors when applicable.
  • Promote continuous improvement in processes, tools, and team efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in project management within a technical environment.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall).
  • Proficient with project management tools (e.g. Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
