Sr Data Engineer Role

Key Skills and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Sr Data Engineer with expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing data ingestion, transformation, and governance frameworks to enable real-time and batch data analytics across our data platform.

  • Design scalable, robust, and secure data pipelines using Azure services.
  • Maintain ETL/ELT processes for structured and unstructured data.
  • Implement Change Data Capture (CDC), streaming pipelines, and batch ingestion.
  • Work with AWS Glue, S3, Redshift or GCP BigQuery, Dataflow as needed.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of building scalable data pipelines, implementing enterprise-grade data governance, security, and engineering automation.

The Sr Data Engineer role involves technical design, coding, unit testing, test case documentation, and walkthroughs for all assigned projects.

The role requires adherence to defined programming standards and code/design review processes.

Required Skills:

  • Cloud-native data engineering expertise on Microsoft Azure.
  • Familiarity with AWS and GCP.
  • Data pipeline development using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics.
  • ETL/ELT process maintenance for structured and unstructured data.
