**Job Title:** Senior Cost EstimatorCurrie & Brown is a leading construction consultancy, and we're looking for a skilled Senior Cost Estimator to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cost estimation, with a strong background in civil engineering.**Responsibilities:**• Accurately prepare detailed cost estimates / BOQs for Civil / Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems & respectively.• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents provided by the client and consultants.• Identify Project requirements, including materials, equipment, labor, and other resources necessary for project cost.• Familiarize oneself with applicable international codes and standards (Ex- NRM, POMI,Smm7)• Ensure all cost estimates align with standards to maintain compliance and quality.• Use appropriate measurement methods to accurately assess quantities.• Proficiency in working with AutoCAD, MS Excel and related software.• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.• Excellent communication skills.• 5-10 years of proven experience in Quantity Surveying, out of that a minimum of 2 years of technical delivery experience gained within a global construction consultancy.• Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, or a related field.• Good technical writing, client-facing and communication skills.• Well-organized, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined and commercially astute.• A team player with a 'can-do' attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful and flexible.Our company values:• Innovation: We are dedicated to innovation and continuous improvement.• Expertise: Our team members are experts in their fields and are committed to delivering high-quality results.• Experience: With a presence in multiple countries, we offer a diverse range of opportunities for professional growth and development.• Equality: We believe in equality and strive to create an inclusive work environment that values diversity and promotes equal opportunities.Interested candidates can share their profiles with us.
