Broadband Estimator

We are seeking a skilled broadband estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the broadband, telecom, and outside plant industry.

• Review RFPs: Review customer-provided Request for Proposals (RFPs) documents to gain a comprehensive understanding of project scope, requirements, specifications, schedule, and customer objectives.
• Estimate and Bid Preparation: Develop customized estimate and bid preparation templates tailored to each RFP project.
• Cost Breakdown and Scheduling: Utilize advanced Excel skills to build cost breakdowns, high-level schedules, risk registers, preliminary resource plans, and populate customer bid pricing forms.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary project information and ensure accurate estimates.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Conduct thorough analysis and research to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and risk mitigation strategies.
• Effective Communication: Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to present estimates, address inquiries, and provide recommendations as needed.

• Experience: Proven experience in estimating within the broadband, telecom, or outside plant industry.
• Excel Skills: Expertise in Excel with the ability to develop complex spreadsheets and models.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with team members and clients.
• Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of construction materials, processes, trade practices, and equipment.
• Certifications: OSHA 10, 30 Certifications preferred.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in using software suites such as Microsoft Office applications.
