Estimation Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Estimation Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for machined and fabricated components, analyzing technical drawings and specifications to develop BOQs, coordinating with design, procurement, and sales teams for project costing, engaging in reverse engineering and estimation for new developments, identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing vendor pricing, maintaining and updating cost databases for bought-out items, and supporting RFQ/RFP responses and preparing techno-commercial proposals.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for machined and fabricated components.
  • Analyze technical drawings and specifications to develop BOQs.
  • Coordinate with design, procurement, and sales teams for project costing.
  • Engage in reverse engineering and estimation for new developments.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize vendor pricing.
  • Maintain and update cost databases for bought-out items.
  • Support RFQ/RFP responses and prepare techno-commercial proposals.

Requirements:

  • Education:
  • Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience:
  • 2–5 years in manufacturing/machinery estimation.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MS Office.
  • ERP familiarity preferred.
