Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Civil Construction Cost Manager with 5+ years of experience in cost management to lead our construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing costs associated with construction projects, including cost estimation, budget planning, and contract administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze project scope and design requirements to identify potential cost savings opportunities.
  • Validate technical specifications received from the design team to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Optimize specifications without compromising client requirements.
  • Validate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and backup workings to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Presentation of BOQs and solutions to management for approval.
  • Verification and validation of Request for Allowance (RA) bills and final bills.
  • Preparation of amendments as required.
  • Validation of budget cost analysis based on benchmark cost matrices.
  • Submission of alternative budget options considering different design solutions.
  • Exploration of new products and their approval.
  • Proposal of optimization options in budgets.
  • Maintenance of budget requirements within given timelines without delays.
  • Preparation of reports on cost analysis of projects as per management requirements.
