**Financial Excellence Leader Wanted**

We seek a seasoned professional to lead our finance department in Hosur. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in Indian accounting practices within private manufacturing settings.

The successful individual will oversee all daily accounting operations, ensure financial accuracy and statutory compliance, and leverage technology for efficiency and insightful reporting.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Oversight: Manage and supervise daily accounting tasks, including Billing, A/R, A/P, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, and Inventory Accounting.
  • GST Expertise: Serve as the company's subject matter expert on GST-related matters. Ensure timely filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9), handle reconciliations, and manage GST audits or queries.
  • SAP Business One & SQL: Take ownership of the finance module in SAP B1. Utilize advanced SQL skills to develop custom reports, create complex queries, and work with the SAP backend for data extraction and analysis.
  • Closing & Reporting: Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes. Prepare and present accurate financial statements and management reports according to Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
  • Statutory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with statutory regulations, including TDS, TCS, Provident Fund, ESI, and other requirements under the Companies Act.
  • Audits & Controls: Act as the primary point of contact for auditors. Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor, guide, and develop the accounting team to foster a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience in private limited manufacturing companies in India.
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance. Professional certification (CA / CMA) is highly preferred.
  • Technical Skills (Non-Negotiable):
  • Expert-level proficiency in SAP Business One. Thorough knowledge of the system is essential.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for report development and SAP backend work.
  • Functional Skills (Non-Negotiable):
  • Deep expertise in Indian GST laws, including filings, compliance, and reconciliations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Ind AS, corporate law, and direct/indirect taxation.
  • Attributes: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and strong leadership qualities.
