Software Engineering Leader Opportunity

The ideal candidate for this engineering leadership role will be responsible for overseeing the performance and career development of a large team of engineers and managers. The selected individual will also own significant parts of LinkedIn products that require design, architecture, and coding.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead by example, demonstrating strong technical skills and providing guidance to the team on best practices and industry trends.
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive business growth through innovative product development.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop a long-term technology roadmap that aligns with the company's overall vision and goals.
Requirements:
  • BS in Computer Science or related field with 12+ years of relevant engineering work experience and 4+ years of hands-on technical management experience.
  • 5+ years software design, coding in one of the following languages: Java, C++.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of management experience in building small to medium-sized teams, demonstrating growth and a track record of successful deliveries.
  • 5+ years of experience in building and working with production grade systems.
