E-Commerce Program Manager for Payment Services

Job Overview:

This role is a critical part of Amazon Payment Services' Middle East and Africa region, where you will be responsible for driving the best payment experience on and off Amazon. You will work closely with various stakeholders to develop and execute customer incentivization programs, promotions, and events that drive traffic on the website and meet key business metrics.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced program manager to join our team in Payment Business Operations MEA. As a senior program manager, you will be responsible for owning customer incentivization programs, including banks and partner discounts/promotions. This includes end-to-end program management, strategy, and execution, as well as driving all promotions with robust SOPs to ensure timely milestones execution.

You will work with multiple internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams during annual and quarterly planning cycles, communicating plans to leadership, events teams, and category leaders. Additionally, you will collaborate with marketing teams and partners (banks/schemes) POCs to execute marketing for these promotions, both onsite and outdoor, while communicating marketing plans to partners and deriving strategies to improve visibility and drive adoption through marketing assets.

The ideal candidate should have 8+ years of program or project management experience, with a strong background in program management, onsite and outdoor marketing, and business operations. They must apply technical skills to automate data extraction and metrics calculation to reduce manual intervention. A solid understanding of e-commerce and passion for problem-solving, managing relationships, and metric development enabling management to make breakthrough decisions and delight customers are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • A Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree at a reputable institution in an analytical field (economics, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or finance)
  • Support new product and feature launches for incentivization initiatives by preparing requirements from program and operations and executing launch milestones to meet timelines
  • Oversee overall IBD processes to ensure accuracy, manage partners, and address customer concerns promptly
  • Engage with various stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners (banks/schemes), and customers, to facilitate effective stakeholder management, communication, and alignment
  • Track KPIs, analyze data, and generate insights related to IBD promotions to facilitate data-driven decision-making, process optimization, and continuous improvement of the customer experience
  • Drive scalability and efficient management of increased program complexity and workload
  • Critical, complex customer escalations in technically challenging situations, collaborating with engineering teams
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables)
  • Program management working together with technical teams to improve payments products and customer experience
