Key Objectives:

  • Design, develop, and maintain UPI switches for banking applications using cutting-edge technology.
  • Architect and implement highly scalable, secure, and efficient payment processing systems that meet industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and troubleshoot performance issues.
  • Optimize transaction processing to handle high-volume real-time payments efficiently.
  • Implement robust security best practices for handling sensitive financial data and transactions.
  • Work with payment gateways, banking APIs, and NPCI specifications to ensure compliance and regulatory adherence.

Required Expertise & Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of experience in backend development with a focus on payment processing systems.
  • Proven experience in developing UPI switches or real-time payment solutions that adhere to industry standards.
  • Strong understanding of NPCI UPI architecture, ISO 8583, and financial transaction protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and microservices architecture for efficient payment processing.
  • Proficiency in PostgreSQL database management systems.
  • Expertise in asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) for real-time data exchange.
  • Experience in the banking domain, fintech applications, or payment processing systems.
  • Strong knowledge of security protocols, encryption, and compliance standards for financial applications.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) for scalable payment processing.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with blockchain-based payment systems is a significant advantage.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML-driven fraud detection mechanisms can be beneficial.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools for CI/CD, logging, and monitoring enhances system reliability.
