Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled professional to perform duties as Maker/Checker for assigned activities with diligence. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily processing and supervision of workflow for various products related to the department.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform duties as Maker/Checker for assigned activities diligently.
  • Understand process/policies of the Bank and adhere to needs.
  • Work closely with overseas branch to process transactions according to accuracy/quality standards.
  • Learn system functions and adhere to controls.
  • Support overseas branches to resolve operational incidents/reporting (if any).
Customer Focus:
  • Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders within the organization.
  • Support and resolve customer enquiries and provide excellent customer service.
  • Work in partnership with Compliance to understand relevant operational guidelines and assess impact on daily operations workflow.
People Development:
  • Provide guidance and support to junior members of the team.
  • Assist in training and development of individuals to ensure high level of job knowledge.
Other Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform checking process on operational issues escalated by less experienced members of the team.
  • Perform reconciliation of daily pending transactions.
  • Support Head of Department in determining level of support on new product offerings.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4-10 years of experience in managing remittances and other payment products.
  • Strong PC skills, including proficiency in MS Office.
  • Knowledge of SWIFT message types and Payment Systems.
  • Extensive experience in account opening process, static data maintenance process & customer data management.
