Job Overview

The Head of Retail Operations is a critical leadership role responsible for driving the overall performance, profitability, and growth of our retail business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Finding new properties for store expansion to increase brand visibility and customer reach
  • Ensuring operational excellence across all retail outlets by implementing policies, SOPs, and compliance standards
  • Buiding a high-performing retail team through training, development, and mentorship programs

This role requires expertise in retail management, franchise relations, property negotiations, and market analysis. A strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skillset is essential, as well as excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

Key Responsibilities1. Franchise & Store Expansion
  • Identify and evaluate potential properties/locations for new stores to ensure optimal brand representation
  • Negotiate and finalize property lease agreements and franchise contracts to minimize risks
2. Retail Operations Management
  • Oversee day-to-day retail operations across all stores to maintain efficiency and consistency
  • Monitor store performance, sales, and profitability to drive revenue growth and cost optimization
3. Team Leadership
  • Lead, mentor, and manage regional/store managers and retail teams to foster a customer-centric culture
  • Drive training and development programs to enhance team performance and capabilities
4. Market Analysis & Strategy
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and trends that align with our brand values
  • Develop and execute retail expansion strategies to maximize market share and customer engagement
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in retail operations with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Strong background in franchise management and property acquisition
  • Proven ability in team handling, business expansion, and operational excellence
Preferred Skills
  • Expertise in franchise and company-owned retail models
  • Strong understanding of retail market trends and customer behavior
  • Ability to drive multi-location operations with efficiency and effectiveness
