Job Description

Tour Consultant

As a skilled Tour Consultant, you will be responsible for creating and selling personalized travel itineraries that meet customer expectations and company standards.

You will understand customer preferences and requirements to design bespoke tour packages including flights, hotels, visas, sightseeing, and transfers.

Additionally, you will provide information on destinations, modes of transport, accommodation, insurance, and other travel services.

Handle inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins professionally and promptly.

Come up with innovative solutions to satisfy customers' needs while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Meet and exceed sales targets by building strong relationships with vendors and suppliers for bookings and ensuring timely confirmations.

Process payments and manage documentation including visas, travel insurance, and travel advisories.

Stay updated with market trends, destination updates, and competitor offerings.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Tour Consultant, Travel Agent, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations.
  • Familiarity with GDS systems (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre) is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Customer-centric approach with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and travel management software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or related field is preferred.
