Job Title: Senior Executive Purchase

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our procurement activities. As a Senior Executive Purchase, you will be responsible for managing the entire purchasing process from identifying reliable vendors to negotiating cost-effective purchases and ensuring timely availability of raw materials and services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and supply chain management. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations and resolve any material-related issues that may arise.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Procurement & Sourcing: Identify and select suppliers/vendors for raw materials, machinery spares, consumables, and services.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and payment conditions with suppliers.
  • Develop alternate sourcing strategies to ensure uninterrupted supply.
  • Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
  • Monitor vendor performance based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
  • Purchase Operations: Ensure timely procurement of materials as per production schedule and monitor stock levels.
  • Coordinate with finance for vendor payments and reconciliations.
  • Cost Optimization: Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality and benchmark prices to identify opportunities for bulk/long-term contracts.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.

You will be a strategic thinker with excellent negotiation and communication skills. You must have a bachelor's degree in Commerce / Supply Chain / Engineering / Management and 2–5 years of experience in procurement/purchase in a manufacturing/industrial setup. Knowledge of local and international sourcing is preferred.
