Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Facilities Manager to join our team.

About the Role
  • This role is responsible for providing leadership and direction to the facilities management team, ensuring the smooth operation of all facilities-related activities.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple vendors, including hard and soft skills, to deliver services on time and within budget.
  • They will also assist the procurement team in vendor procurement processes in accordance with agreed Commonwealth procurement rules as well as best practices.
  • Risk Management:
  • The incumbent will ensure the Operational Risk Management program is implemented and maintained.
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of disaster recovering and business continuity plans.
  • Follow established escalation procedures and incident reporting procedures.

This role requires the ability to work safely, taking reasonable care to protect their own health and safety and that of fellow workers, contractors and visitors ensuring they comply with the requirements of the health and safety guidelines, policies and rules.
