Leadership Role for Sustainable Operations

The successful candidate will oversee seamless operations, ensuring the retention and acquisition of new clientele. Their expertise in sustainability solutions will support the team in achieving timely compliance with regulations on behalf of brands required to fulfill their EPR targets for plastic and e-waste.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure brand compliance with existing rules and regulations.
  • Develop standardized formats according to government, brand, or client requirements.
  • Document collections and verification as per commitment given to brands.
  • Maintain proactive communication with key brands and stakeholders associated with our organization.
  • Maintain attention to detail, especially in compliance-related documentation.
  • Handle multiple teams on-field and off-field.
  • Improve efficiency by building optimized processes of completion.
  • Communicate effectively with management, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols.
  • Pursue strategic and operational objectives proactively.
  • Ensure operational activities remain on time and within defined parameters.
  • Track staffing requirements and hire new employees as needed.
  • Lead, motivate, and support a large team in a time-sensitive environment, including setup and implementation of career development plans for direct reports and problem resolution.
  • Partner with cross-functional support teams to improve process implementation.
  • Collaborate with legal and safety departments to ensure activities remain compliant.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience handling operations.
  • Past experience in waste management is an advantage.
  • Ability to work efficiently on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with solid ability to persuade others, build consensus, and work in a team.
