Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer

Job Summary:

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer based in Faridabad. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of electrical systems and instrumentation used in thermal engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical schematics and instrumentation layouts.
  • Select and specify sensors, actuators, control valves, temperature/pressure transmitters, and flow meters.
  • Develop PLC/SCADA logic for control systems (preferably Siemens, Delta, Allen-Bradley).
  • Oversee wiring, panel testing, loop checking, and site commissioning.
  • Coordinate with mechanical, design, and purchase teams for integrated system delivery.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical or instrumentation issues at the shop or site.
  • Maintain documentation: BOMs, wiring diagrams, FAT/SAT protocols, O&M manuals.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and electrical codes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical/instrumentation/electronics engineering.
  • 3–7 years of relevant experience in industrial projects (furnaces, boilers, process plants preferred).
  • Hands-on experience in:
  • PLC programming (Siemens, Delta).
  • HMI/SCADA development.
  • VFDs, MCCs, LT panels, relay logics.
  • Sensors and instrumentation for temperature, pressure, flow, etc.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, EPlan, and Excel.
  • Understanding of industrial safety practices and CE/IEC/IS compliance.
