Electrical and Instrumentation Manager Job Description

This role involves leading and supervising maintenance activities for electrical, electronics, and instrumentation systems. The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of maintaining machine panels, drive systems, SCADA, and other automation systems to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency of plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the planning and implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to minimize breakdowns and maximize machine availability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in machine panels, drive systems, SCADA, PLCs, and automation controls.
  • Coordinate with production and other departments to ensure smooth plant operations and achieve organizational goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, breakdown analysis, and equipment history.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and statutory requirements in all electrical & instrumentation works.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance processes and systems.
  • Train and develop maintenance team members on new technologies and best practices.

The ideal candidate should possess good knowledge of industrial electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems, as well as strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, excellent leadership, communication, and team management abilities.
