Electrical Systems Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled electrical systems specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the design and development of high voltage electrical equipment and materials.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing main electrical equipment and materials
  • Preparing and reviewing technical specifications and data sheets
  • Preparing electrical equipment and material sizing calculations
  • Creating control and protection schematics and SLDs
  • Requisitioning for inquiry and purchase of HV electrical equipment
  • Designing and reviewing overhead lines
  • Reviewing generation/grid interconnections
  • Conducting power system studies
  • Evaluating technical bids for HV electrical equipment
  • Collaborating with other technical disciplines involved

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • At least 15 years of experience working in the electrical discipline in an engineering company
  • Proven track record in designing high voltage electrical equipment and materials
  • Expertise in power system studies
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Able to work effectively in accordance with project requirements
  • Fluent English language skills - listening, speaking, reading and writing
