Placement Manager Job Description

We are seeking a visionary professional to lead our campus recruitment efforts and drive strategic industry engagement. This role is crucial in building and maintaining strong relationships with leading organizations and industry leaders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Campus Recruitment: Translate relationships into quantifiable business outcomes by farming existing accounts and hunting new ones.
  • Strategic Industry Engagement: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to build multi-faceted relationships with industry leaders.
  • Forge High-Impact Connections: Create and manage corporate engagement opportunities, including guest speakers, live projects, and mentorship programs.
  • Career Services & Placements: Lead the career services function, guiding students through their career development journey and managing the end-to-end placement process.
  • Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate partners, ensuring a seamless relationship.
  • Ecosystem Development: Cultivate a vibrant ecosystem of corporate partners that aligns with the institution's mission.
Requirements:
  • A Postgraduate/MBA or related degree.
  • 5-7 years' experience in business development, sales, or a relevant role.
  • Excellent communication and key account management skills.
  • Self-driven goals and demonstrated selling to CXOs.

The ideal candidate possesses significant experience in corporate relations, business development, talent acquisition, or career services, preferably within higher education or a related field.
