Placement Coordinator

The role of the Placement Coordinator is to ensure successful placements of students in relevant jobs within the IT domain. They must monitor student life cycles to guarantee standard outcomes.

  • Identify major employers for urban placement opportunities for students.
  • Match students with companies according to their requirements and associate them with pre-placement profiling.
  • Meet with company directors and HR heads to discuss manpower needs and placement agreements.
  • Coordinate with branches regarding placement procedures and placed students.
  • Generate revenue by placing students for the organization.
  • Maintain documents related to pre-placement and post-placement activities.
  • Maintain a database of students.
  • Brief students on job openings after obtaining client requirements.
  • Conduct market studies of the job market.
  • Regularly coordinate with respective managers and trainers.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2+ years of experience in student placement from skilling/training/educational institutes. Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills, are essential. The candidate should also possess good knowledge and relations with corporates and an inclination towards society and working for marginalized communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Student placement for courses/batches.
  • Corporate tie-ups for student placements.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in placement of students from skilling/training/educational institutes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; should demonstrate patience and perseverance.
  • Good knowledge and relations with corporates.
  • Inclination towards society and working for marginalized communities.
