Key Responsibilities

You’ll supervise and manage a team of Specialists, overseeing day-to-day operations to meet Service Level Agreements through quality and service. Demonstrate high proficiency in operations procedures, communicate proactively, and define performance metrics for processes and individuals. Ensure effective working relationships between team members, maintain high morale and productivity, and provide direction to team members.

You’ll monitor end-user compute infrastructure, resolve system issues, manage installations, upgrades, and configurations of hardware and software, assess system performance, and recommend improvements. Resolve or assist with issues escalated by Specialists, provide support and guidance to stakeholders, and collaborate with other departments to resolve issues.

Requirements

  • More than four years of experience preferably in a technology or financial firm.
  • Excellent computer skills, including organizational and time-management skills, and proven experience as an IT Operations Manager.
  • Experience with system and application installations, configuration, and analysis, and a good understanding of policy, planning, and strategy.
  • Fair understanding of Windows platform and Cloud platforms like Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of designing and implementing office technical infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in OS management and network administration, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching.
  • Experience with Azure infrastructure, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, Azure Networking, and Azure Security.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Cisco Certified Network Associate) are a plus.
  • Ability to oversee inventory requirements and forecast hardware purchases at regular intervals.
  • Outstanding communication skills, leadership, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks, problem-solving aptitude, and assist with strategy decisions regarding project planning and implementation.
  • A self-starter who is structured, action-oriented, and has a sense of urgency, as well as being deadline-oriented and able to lead a team.
