Director of Learning Experience

The Director – Learning Experience will lead the creation, implementation, and evaluation of innovative learning strategies and solutions. This role combines expertise in instructional design with a focus on learner-centric outcomes for enterprise clients.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive learning plans, integrating cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to drive business impact.
    • Leverage narrative techniques and complex information to craft engaging learning experiences (storyboards, videos, simulations, blended learning).
    • Drive visualization and design consistency across all learning materials to enhance learner engagement and retention.
    • Ensure solutions align with client objectives, goals, and measurable results.
  • Client Partnership & Delivery:
    • Lead large-scale client engagements (> $500K; global in scope).
    • Manage project delivery teams, timelines, budgets, and profitability while ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.
    • Oversee content development workflows, including production, LMS integration, quality assurance of digital assets (videos, decks, assessments, captions).
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, positioning as a trusted advisor.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Growth:
    • Partner with account teams to shape and execute account expansion strategies.
    • Lead solution design, pricing, proposal development, high-stakes presentations/pilots to senior executives.
    • Identify opportunities to innovate learning solutions and expand consulting services across portfolios.
  • Team Development & Capability Building:
    • Mentor, coach, and develop consultants, learning associates, and project teams in consulting, instructional design, and client management capabilities.
    • Mobilize and align resources across workstreams, fostering collaboration and accountability for project outcomes.
    • Build organizational capability in emerging learning technologies and digital-first instructional design.
