Treasury Specialist Role

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Treasury Management Professional to support our Head of Treasury in managing external stakeholders, raising funds, ensuring compliance, and handling cash flow/liability management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Fundraising & Relationship Management: Collaborate with banks and financial institutions to raise funds and build relationships.
  • Credit Rating Surveillance & Compliance Reporting: Monitor credit ratings and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Debt Servicing & Liability Management: Manage debt servicing and liability reporting.
  • Cash Flow Planning & Audit Coordination: Plan and coordinate cash flow and audit activities.
  • Relationship Building & Management: Build and manage relationships with PSU and private banks.
  • Loan Applications & Documentation: Prepare loan applications and documentation for disbursements.
  • Transaction Vetting & Coordination: Coordinate with legal and compliance teams for transaction vetting.
  • Fund Raising & Debt Raising: Drive fund raising and speed up debt raising process.
  • Credit Rating Surveillance: Handle credit rating surveillance with multiple agencies.
  • Rating Fee Structures & Negotiation: Arrange management calls and negotiate rating fee structures.
  • Stock Audits & Charge Creation: Oversee stock audits and charge creation/modification with MCA.
  • Compliance & Due Diligence: Manage post-disbursement compliances and due diligence reports.
  • Regulatory Returns: Ensure timely submission of RBI, NHB & other regulatory returns.
  • Liability Dashboard & Investments: Manage liability dashboard, debt servicing, and investments in liquid funds/FDs.
  • Cash Flow Management & Cost Analysis: Support CFO in cash flow management and cost of borrowing analysis.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: CA / Postgraduate in Finance (MBA Finance preferred).
  • Experience: 7-12 years' experience in fund raising for NBFCs/HFCs.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, relationship management & problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity: Familiarity with NBFC/NHB regulations, IND AS & IGAAP.
  • Advantage: Knowledge of NHB refinancing is an advantage.
