Job Title: Senior Financial Strategist

 

The organization seeks an experienced Senior Financial Strategist to lead the entire financial function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, effective cash flow management, and strategic planning.

 

  1. Financial Management & Strategy:
  • Develop strategies to optimize costs, improve margins, and enhance profitability. Monitor financial performance against business objectives and provide insights for decision-making.
  1. Accounts & Reporting:
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). Manage day-to-day accounting operations and oversee team performance.
  1. Compliance & Audit:
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including tax laws, regulatory filings, and other applicable laws. Liaise with auditors and ensure timely completion of audits.
  1. Treasury & Working Capital Management:
  • Manage cash flows, banking operations, and fund utilization efficiently. Oversee working capital management, credit control, and debtor management.
  1. Cost Control & MIS:
  • Implement effective cost accounting systems and monitor production-related costs. Develop and present periodic reports to management for financial performance tracking.
  1. Team Leadership & Development:
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring skill development and high performance. Establish strong internal controls and processes across the department.

 

Requirements:

  • Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong background in finance and accounting.
  • Experience: At least 8 years post-qualification experience in accounts and finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Expertise in financial reporting, statutory compliance, cost control, and treasury management.
  • Proven track record in handling audits, liaising with banks, and managing working capital.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.
