Sales Manager - IT Consulting Expert

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team in Bengaluru or Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT Services & Consulting sales, with a proven track record in developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets. This role requires a professional who can effectively drive revenue growth and work collaboratively across teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities within the IT services and consulting space, focusing on expanding the client base.

• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.

• Sales Strategy Execution: Implement effective sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets and company growth objectives.

• Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities for growth in the IT services and consulting sectors.

• Proposal & Presentation Development: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients, addressing their specific business needs.

• Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain an active sales pipeline, track progress, and provide regular sales forecasts to management.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and delivery teams to align sales efforts with company offerings and client needs.

• Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by coordinating with internal teams to deliver quality solutions on time.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 2 to 8 years in sales within IT services and consulting.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent qualification is a plus.

• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of IT solutions, software, or consulting services, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to clients.

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.

• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to understand client requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.

• Negotiation & Closing Skills: Proficiency in negotiation techniques with a strong track record of closing deals.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in B2B sales in the IT industry.

• Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce or Zoho.

• Proven ability to work independently and meet sales targets in a competitive market.
