Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Helpdesk Professional to provide expert technical support to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong problem-solving attitude, and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest IT trends.

The Helpdesk Technician II will serve as the primary point of contact for our clients, providing prompt and effective assistance to resolve technical issues and support requests.

  • Provide remote technical support via phone, email, or chat
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, network connectivity problems, and system configurations
  • Ensure client IT systems operate smoothly and efficiently, contributing to their overall satisfaction and success
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Hands-on experience in helpdesk tickets, including troubleshooting Server Infrastructure tickets, Windows OS, and LoB apps issues
  • Technical proficiency in multiple areas, including security, networking, server administration, and hardware
  • Strong customer-facing interpersonal and communication skills, effectively communicating technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Intune management is preferred
  • Understanding of Active Directory Group Policy Objects (GPOs), desktop support, and troubleshooting
  • Security-conscious mindset with a focus on ensuring data and network security
  • Continuous Learning, maintaining a willingness to learn attitude and staying up-to-date with the latest IT skills and technologies

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Incident prioritization, ensuring urgent action to minimize downtime during high-severity incidents
  • Documentation and coordination of LAN activities, including backups, maintenance, server upgrades, and patching
  • Troubleshooting networking tickets, including internet troubleshooting, VPN solutions, firewall systems, and office WiFi connectivity
  • Cloud platform networking tickets, collaborating on NOC tickets and basic understanding of software-based network connectivity on cloud platforms like Azure, AWS
  • Troubleshooting COTS products, ensuring effective utilization and troubleshooting when needed
  • Operating System (OS) Troubleshooting, including disk and storage tickets, backup issues, OS performance issues, apps crashes, and not-responding errors
  • Application Crash Analysis, gathering error details, utilizing event logs and task manager for diagnostics
  • Microsoft 365 troubleshooting, ensuring optimal performance and resolving issues efficiently
  • Fortinet VPN troubleshooting, hands-on experience with Forticlient EMS and MFA
