Senior Construction Manager - Gulf Region

This high-level professional is accountable for overseeing the implementation of innovative construction methods for fast-track and complex projects within the Gulf region. A strategic thinker with a deep understanding of technical aspects, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to drive value engineering and execution excellence are essential qualities for success in this role.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Tender Review: Analyze tender documents, prepare technical queries, and liaise with clients for clarifications.
  • Construction Methodology: Develop site logistics plans, construct sequences, and suitable methodologies, plan resources including labor and plant & machinery, create and present technical submissions and presentations to management and clients.
  • Design Coordination & Value Engineering: Collaborate with in-house design teams to produce construction-friendly designs, coordinate with external consultants for design/drawing alignment with client specifications, optimize designs for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Technology & Equipment Expertise: Apply knowledge of latest formwork systems and plant equipment, handle methodologies for complex structures.
  • Site Support: Conduct site visits to review progress and suggest alternate solutions, work closely with execution teams to ensure seamless implementation.
  • Documentation: Prepare and interpret construction drawings and sketches, maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RCC and steel construction, with hands-on experience in the Gulf region where cutting-edge construction methodologies are employed.
