As part of our Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development of our next-generation ADAS system. This innovative technology will see our vehicles progressing to full autonomous driving by 2030, with the potential to revolutionize the way we travel.

In order to achieve this goal, we are working on specific software functionalities that aim to build in-house software modules for maximum reusability and robustness in the future landscape of autonomous driving.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake a variety of tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team to mentor junior SW engineers and communicate findings through presentations and reporting.
  • Understand requirements and create high-level design and detailed design.
  • Mentor junior software developers on design patterns, development best practices, and DevOps trade-offs.
  • Create software detailed design and support implementation in software and API interfaces required from internal teams.
  • Develop complex software to satisfy design objectives.
  • Clearly understand API design for extensibility and portability of software across multiple implementations.
  • Liaise with global teams within JLR.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 8+ years of experience with at least 3+ years in application design and development.
  • Responsibility for low-level design, implementation, and validation in complex automotive projects.
  • Experience in design and development of software solutions in AUTOSAR.
  • Hands-on experience in programming languages like C/C++.
  • Knowledge of Agile SW development process.
  • Hands-on experience in developing systems based on various IPC mechanisms.
  • Good knowledge of Adaptive AUTOSAR-based Communication and Diagnostic stack.
  • Experience in Automotive SW middleware platforms.
  • Strong understanding of software design and architectural patterns.
  • Good understanding of ISO26262.
