Software Engineering Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled software engineering leader to join our team.

This leadership role will involve overseeing the development of scalable and maintainable solutions for our existing websites, utilizing modular and reusable components.

The successful candidate will drive new development efforts for our component-based website systems, ensuring proper integration with our content management system.

Additionally, they will provide high-level direction on front-end architecture and technical design/implementation of our websites.

Maintaining and improving overall performance of our websites, adhering to current standards and best practices, is also an essential aspect of this role.

Requirements
  • At least 10 years of extensive experience with Drupal (e.g., Drupal 7/8/9) architecture, APIs, and module development.
  • Proficiency in LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js).
  • Strong understanding of system design, distributed systems, and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with website search technologies and solutions like OpenSearch, Solr, and Elastic Search.
  • Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
