Web Development Expert

 

  • As a core member of an agile team, contribute to user story analysis and elaboration, design and develop responsive web applications using best engineering practices.
  • Perform hands-on software development, focusing on writing code, unit tests, conducting proof of concepts, code reviews, and testing in ongoing sprints.
  • Drive continuous improvement through refactoring of code and ensuring smooth integrations with other systems and platforms within supported domains.
  • Effectively manage time, work collaboratively as part of a team, and communicate closely with product managers and engineers to implement versatile solutions.
  • Drive automation efforts and collaborate with QA Engineers to ensure automated test scripts are completed for new features.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Act as a core member of an agile team responsible for driving user story analysis and elaboration designs and developing responsive web applications using the best engineering practices.
  • Perform hands-on software development typically spending most of time actually writing code and unit tests doing proof of concepts conducting code reviews and testing in ongoing sprints.
  • Ensure continuous improvement by performing ongoing refactoring of code.
  • Develop a deep understanding of integrations with other systems and platforms within supported domains.
  • Effectively manage own time and work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers backend and other frontend engineers to implement versatile solutions to tricky web development problems.
  • Work with Product Owners to define requirements for new features and plan increments of work.
  • Drive automation efforts and collaborate with QA Engineers to ensure automated test scripts are completed for new features.
  • Assume all technical aspects of software development for assigned applications including developing prototypes writing new code and creating APIs.
  • Design and build integration components and interfaces in collaboration with Senior Engineers Architects and Infrastructure Engineers as necessary.
