Lead Cybersecurity Strategist

We are seeking a seasoned cybersecurity professional to lead our information security strategy, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of our assets.

Job Overview:

The successful candidate will establish and maintain an enterprise vision for information security, protecting against potential threats and vulnerabilities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive information security strategies, policies, and procedures to safeguard against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust security architectures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption solutions.
  • Lead security awareness and training programs for all employees to foster a culture of security awareness.
  • Direct the identification, assessment, and mitigation of security risks across all aspects of operations.
  • Monitor and analyse security incidents and breaches, coordinating incident response activities to minimize impact and prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security requirements into business processes and systems development life cycles.
  • Stay abreast of emerging threats and industry trends, assessing their potential impact on our security posture.
  • Serve as liaison with regulatory agencies, auditors, and other external stakeholders on matters related to information security and compliance.
Requirements & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 7+ years of experience in information security roles, with a minimum of 2+ years in a leadership capacity.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing comprehensive information security programs in a complex environment.
  • Deep understanding of security frameworks, standards, and regulations, including NIST Cybersecurity Framework and ISO/IEC 27001.
  • Strong knowledge of network security, encryption, identity and access management, security operations, and incident response.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
