To drive growth and success in our dynamic sales organization, we're seeking an experienced Sales Operations Director. This pivotal role demands a skilled leader who can foster high-performance teams, optimize processes, and ensure seamless execution.

About the Role:
  • Lead the India-based Sales Operations team with a focus on building a cohesive unit.
  • Oversee Order Management and the 24/7 call center.
  • Be instrumental in new hire processes – Recruiting, onboarding, training.
  • Take part in onboarding and training new sales account managers and Sales Ops.
  • Develop and implement global standards for Quote-to-Order processes, prioritizing SLAs, timeliness, accuracy, process consistency, and output quality.
  • Elevate and maintain performance levels for the team, exemplifying professionalism.
  • Support quoting processes, assisting Sales with various adjustments requiring Sales Operations involvement.
  • Manage order fulfillment processes.
  • Collaborate with leadership to facilitate annual planning for the sales organization.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for sales process improvement, working closely with sales management to inspect processes, understand bottlenecks, and prioritize enhancements.
  • Maintain compliance with required standards for CRM data.
  • Refine customer segmentation, assist with territory management, and develop plans to enhance renewal and upsell processes.
  • Maintain regular check-ins with Sales Managers / Account Executives to assess sales opportunity management and identify areas for internal review.

Requirements:

  • At least 7 years of experience in a technology company, preferably with software subscription and licensing expertise.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in sales operations, team management, quote-to-cash processes, order management, process optimization, training new hires, reporting, and dashboards.
  • Showcase the ability to translate high-level sales strategies into actionable system and process requirements, ensuring local execution and business impact.
  • Possess a strong working knowledge of CPQ and CRM systems, best practices, and processes.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel functions for data analysis and reporting is essential.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
  • Strategic problem-solving skills for sales operations are crucial.
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities concurrently is vital.
