Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Expert

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Infrastructure Expert to join our team. As an Associate Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, deploying, and managing scalable, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure on AWS.

You will work closely with development teams to optimize application infrastructure and manage incidents, minimize downtime, and provide escalation support as required.

The ideal candidate will have experience with IaaS and PaaS cloud platforms, monitoring tools and log analysis, DevOps concepts, including Docker and Kubernetes, and strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure on AWS.
  • Implement security best practices across infrastructure, applications, and APIs, and manage IAM roles and policies, enforce least privilege access and regularly audit permissions.
  • Perform log analysis, implement monitoring tools to ensure application health, and troubleshoot production issues and provide on-call support.
  • Administer Postgres and Redis databases, including upgrades, backups, and performance tuning.
  • Lead incident response efforts and implement preventive actions to reduce MTTR, and ensure clear postmortem documentation and RCA timelines.
Requirements:
  • Experience with IaaS and PaaS cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Heroku).
  • Expertise in monitoring tools and log analysis (AWS CloudWatch, DataDog, Logtail).
  • Familiarity with DevOps concepts, including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
