Strategic Business Architect

We are seeking a seasoned Strategic Business Architect to join our team as a key member of the Finance Business Architecture (FBA) team. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders across various business units and technology teams to define and deliver strategic goals for the organization.

As a Strategic Business Architect, your primary responsibility will be to manage the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from requirements gathering to testing and deployment. You will utilize Agile principles to write business requirements in the form of user stories, enhancing data, reporting automation, and digital analytics toolsets. Your expertise in data analysis and data knowledge will be instrumental in identifying trends, optimizing processes, and driving business growth.

Responsibilities include:
  • Managing the SDLC from requirements gathering to testing and deployment
  • Utilizing Agile principles to write business requirements
  • Collaborating with development teams to translate business needs into technical specifications
  • Driving compliance and adherence to product and Release Management standards and operating models
  • Identifying and implementing solutions for business process improvements
  • Overseeing the release plan, including scope, milestones, sourcing requirements, test strategy, execution, and stakeholder activities


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills include:
  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in Project Management or Product Ownership, with a focus on process re-engineering
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner with a strong understanding of agile principles and delivering complex programs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to quickly assimilate business and technical knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of cloud technologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
  • Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple work streams concurrently, maintaining sound judgment and a risk mindset
  • Solid understanding of financial and regulatory reporting processes


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Experience in Finance, Risk, or Operations as a Product Lead Familiarity with traditional credit products and liquidity and credit reporting data Knowledge of JIRA, Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, Databricks, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Alteryx, Python)
