Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as an Elasticsearch Cluster Administrator. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Elasticsearch and Splunk clusters.

Your primary focus will be on evaluating the performance of our Elasticsearch clusters, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes to optimize their performance. You will also be involved in maintaining other parts of the data pipeline, including serverless or server-based systems for feeding data into the Elasticsearch pipeline.

To achieve this, you will work closely with our development team to ensure seamless integration with our existing infrastructure and applications. Your expertise in administration and management of Elasticsearch clusters will be invaluable in this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Expertise in administration and management of Elasticsearch clusters (primary)
  • Expertise in administration and management of Splunk clusters (secondary)
  • Strong knowledge in provisioning and configuration management tools like Puppet, Ansible, Rundeck, etc.
  • Experience in building automations and infrastructure as code using Terraform, Packer, or CloudFormation templates.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Splunk, Prometheus, PagerDuty, etc.
  • Experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, Go, Ruby, Perl, etc.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Pipelines, Artifactory, etc.
