Observability Expert

As an experienced observability expert, you will be responsible for designing, managing, and scaling large-scale ELK clusters that ingest massive amounts of data.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive automation and efficiency within our cloud environments. Your expertise in GitHub Actions, Terraform, and Ansible will be crucial in streamlining deployment and configuration processes.

We are seeking a seasoned professional with deep knowledge of index tuning, shard allocation, ILM policies, and scaling ELK components. You will also possess strong experience managing large-scale ELK clusters in production with heavy ingestion rates.

A key responsibility of this role is to enhance reliability and performance across distributed systems. You will proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues using Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor.

Key Skills:
  • 7+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering
  • Deep knowledge of ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
  • Strong experience managing large-scale ELK clusters in production with heavy ingestion (multi-TB/day)
  • Expertise in GitHub Actions, Terraform, Ansible, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash for automation and scripting
  • Deep understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native architectures
