Reliability Engineering Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Reliability Engineering Manager to spearhead the development and implementation of reliability practices, lead a team of engineers, and drive automation, monitoring, and incident response strategies.

This role combines software engineering and systems engineering expertise to build and maintain high-performing, reliable systems. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining high availability and reliability of critical services.
  • Defining and monitoring Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure business requirements are met.
  • Proactively identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and system inefficiencies.

Additionally, you will establish and improve incident management processes, lead incident response and root cause analysis for high-priority outages, and drive post-incident reviews to implement actionable insights.

The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code tools, Java, distributed systems, databases, load balancing, monitoring and observability tools, automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and incident management.

As a Reliability Engineering Manager, you will partner with software engineering teams to improve application and infrastructure reliability, work closely with product/engineering teams to design scalable and robust systems, and ensure seamless integration of monitoring and alerting systems across teams.

Key qualifications include strong people management and leadership skills, excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, clear and concise communication, and the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
