Role: Commercial Banking SME / Consultant

We are seeking a seasoned Commercial Banking Subject Matter Expert (SME) to assume key responsibilities within our BFSI practice team. This individual will act as a solutions expert/advisor to internal and external stakeholders, providing strategic insights, process consulting, and domain expertise across commercial banking operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Act as a domain consultant and advisor in commercial banking engagements across client implementations, solution design, and process improvements.
  • Translate complex banking processes into actionable insights and business requirements for operational functions.
  • Develop RFP/RFI responses, solutions, and go-to-market strategies for commercial banking offerings.
  • Promote digital transformation initiatives (e.g., process reengineering, automation) in client banking operations.
  • Collaborate with delivery and technology teams to ensure banking domain alignment in solution implementation and ongoing service delivery.

Key Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in the commercial banking domain, with exposure to areas like corporate lending, trade finance, cash & payments, risk & compliance, and client onboarding from an operational standpoint.
  • Previous experience in consulting, transformation, or solution architect roles within operational functions is preferred.
  • A deep understanding of banking processes, systems, and regulatory environments.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree with a Master's degree in management or a related field.
