Your Role:

As the Strategic Finance Lead, you will oversee the financial strategy, fundraising, and operational scale-up of our platform. You'll ensure we have the resources, systems, and processes to grow sustainably from Day 1.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Strategy:
    • Develop and manage financial models (unit economics, CAC/LTV, marketplace liquidity).
    • Lead fundraising efforts: prepare investor materials, create pitch decks, manage financial modelling and investor relations.
    • Design and implement robust financial systems: accounting, compliance, reporting, unit economics, CAC/LTV analysis.
    • Oversee compliance, accounting, and corporate governance.
  • Marketplace Operations:
    • Create and execute a marketplace operations playbook.
    • Design operational processes for venue partnerships, equipment rentals, and event logistics.
    • Balance marketplace liquidity: ensuring enough hosts & events to meet attendee demand.
    • Establish trust & safety operations: dispute resolution, refunds, and community guidelines.
  • Scaling & Partnerships:
    • Oversee legal & compliance frameworks: contracts, NDAs, corporate structure, MCA compliance.
    • Foster partnerships with venues, service providers, and student organizations.
    • Develop KPI dashboards: event volume, ticket sales, host retention, repeat attendance.
    • Hire and manage community managers and operational staff as we grow.
    Requirements:
    • A strong background in finance, consulting, or startup operations.
    • Prior experience in marketplaces or consumer platforms is a big plus.
    • Comfort managing logistics, partnerships, and customer support.
    • A strategic thinker who can also roll up their sleeves in early execution.
    • A passion for building communities and scaling people-first businesses.
