The role of Senior Economist is crucial in shaping economic thought leadership. This demands profound expertise in macroeconomics, sectoral dynamics, investment patterns, production trends, external trade, financial markets, and the borrowing-lending ecosystem.

  • Deliver strategic, unique, and insightful analyses addressing key challenges, influencing business decisions, guiding policy discussions, and strengthening research capabilities.
  • Produce high-impact economic analyses, forecasting, thematic research, bespoke research consultancy, and thought leadership with a focus on the evolving landscape.

You will be responsible for producing timely, high-impact analyses on key economic events, data releases, and policy changes. This includes leveraging large datasets to uncover economic patterns and trends, maintaining, enhancing, and validating complex economic databases, ensuring data integrity and accuracy to support analytical outputs.

We are looking for candidates with an advanced degree in Economics (Master's or Ph.D.) with a strong foundation in macroeconomics, econometrics, and quantitative analysis. 6-10 years of relevant experience in economic research, policy analysis, consulting, or financial services with a proven track record of delivering impactful economic insights is required.

  • Data Management: Maintain, enhance, and validate complex economic databases to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Research Consultancy: Provide bespoke research consultancy services to clients, offering expert insights and guidance.

  • Experience: 6-10 years in economic research, policy analysis, consulting, or financial services
